Billingsgate Roman House and Baths Guided Tour

Taking place most Saturdays throughout the year, why not delve deep into Londons past and discover Billingsgate Roman Bathhouse.

Re-discovered in 1848 during the construction of the Coal Exchange, but only excavated between 1968-69 whilst the office block above was being built; it's only fairly recently been open to the public!

After entering a fairly nondescript building, you're led down the stairs to discover a glimpse into Londinium; our ancient city.

Pottery found at the site has dated the house to the late 2nd century, and at the time it would would have been at the waterfront of the Thames. Your very knowledgeable guide will go into lots of detail about the history and layout of the site, so get booking!
